CONTENT MANAGEMENT

Search Engine Friendly

Over the years, the ability for search bots to crawl dynamically generated URLs (via a content management system) has greatly increased; in fact, today we rarely see a problem.

Search engines like Google and Yahoo now support a single protocol called sitemaps (sitemaps.org). At Viewmark, we embrace this XML standard format and build a complete, up-to-date inventory of content IDs to manage new and obsolete content.

This can greatly enhance and accelerate the communication path to the major search vendors and identify any potential issues. Both Google and Yahoo have portals to help Search Engine Marketers track and communicate organic search optimization issues.

Metadata provides a way of using specialized vocabularies for describing the underlying meaning of content. Systems are widely interoperable and make for a more ubiquitous and intelligent internet. The Cyberneering systems allows administrators to create and manage metadata for any piece of content.
